CONTEMPORARY   SCULPTURES

Pierre Bataille was commissioned  to create these six sculptures   His client had certain demands: he wanted a rectangular shape, a triangular shape, a round shape, and one that reached toward the sky; he also wanted the form of a bull.  These sculptures are fabricated in iron, resin, and wood.  They are distinct from one another in form and theme.  The first step was for Pierre Bataille to draw the designs and to gather the materials.  To complete the work, he hired an assistant who specializes in welding and painting.

These sculptures are now on Display in a private park near Paris.
